A selected number of HTML emails that have been created over the years, as a portfolio that have been developed for email campaign services, or using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL running within bespoke system backends.

  • Staff daily day schedule reminder

    Developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Google Maps API (obtain static map image of job location) that runs within a bespoke built CRM system. These personalised emails are received by each member of staff as a daily reminder of the job they have been assigned to, at 5AM every weekday. The emails are scheduled and triggered using a Windows BAT script, which executes PHP, which then loops through the HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Google Maps API combination - resulting in a the emails successfully being sent via an external SMTP provider.

  • Monthly Newsletter

    Designed within Photoshop, developed locally and then finalised within MailChimp, this monthly newsletter is sent by myself to my client base. It was designed to include minimal images to enable instant email client compatibility, and easy to understand and read in both HTML and plain-text renderings. The design has been built within MailChimp as a template, which then enables the continuation of monthly campaigns that are created and populated throughout the month. The newsletter is received and read within a wide range of devices, meaning that the design was developed to support 100% mobile responsiveness.

  • Annual Market Round Up Newsletter

    Content and spoken vision provided by the client, which was then taken and designed within Photoshop, developed locally as a one-off campaign and then imported into Swiftpage. This design was to outline the corporations 2014 annual round up. It was design as a one off campaign and included a high level of images. This meant that image ALT tags needed to be descriptive and discrete the image being “blocked” by the client. Not much acknowledgment was put into ensuring the plain-text renderings was clear, as this was solely targeting a full HTML render. Due to the nature and design of the newsletter, this particular design was not required to support 100% mobile responsiveness.

  • Weekly expired quotation

    Developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL that runs within a bespoke built CRM system. This email is received by a particular staff selection (directors and finance) to list the expired quotations that the system has processed. This notification is received on the closure of every week, at approx 4:30PM on Friday afternoon. The email is scheduled and triggered using a Windows BAT script, which executes PHP, which then loops through the HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL combination - resulting in a the email successfully being sent via an external SMTP provider.

  • Latest Update Newsletter

    Content and spoken vision provided by the client, which was then taken and finalised within Photoshop, developed locally and then finalised within MailChimp. This design was to outline the corporations main latest news, as well as additional small updates. It was design to provide an even amount of copy and images. The design had been imported within MailChimp as a template, which then enabled the continuation of successful campaigns. The newsletter is received and read within a wide range of devices, but was not required to support 100% mobile responsiveness.

  • Weekly snapshot of complete staff schedule

    Developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL that runs within a bespoke built CRM system. This email is received by a particular staff selection (directors) to provide an in-email snapshot of the closing weeks staff schedule. This notification is received on the closure of every week, at approx 4:30PM on Friday afternoon. The email is scheduled and triggered using a Windows BAT script, which executes PHP, which then loops through the HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL combination - resulting in a the email successfully being sent via an external SMTP provider.

The design has been built within MailChimp as a template, which then enabled the continuation of monthly campaigns that are created and populated throughout the month.

  • Weekly overdue invoices

    Developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL that runs within a bespoke built CRM system. This email is received by a particular staff selection (directors and finance) to list the outstanding invoices within the system. This notification is received on the opening and mid point (Monday and Wednesday) of every week,  at approx 6AM. The email is scheduled and triggered using a Windows BAT script, which executes PHP, which then loops through the HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL combination - resulting in a the email successfully being sent via an external SMTP provider.

    Wire-framed by the client and handed over, was then taken and finalised within Photoshop, developed locally and then finalised within Swiftpage. This design was to outline the corporations latest news and updates. It was design to provide more copy that images, meaning that it was easy to understand and read in both HTML and plain-text renderings. The design had been imported within Swiftpage as a template, which then enabled the continuation of successful campaigns. The newsletter is received and read within a wide range of devices, but was not required to support 100% mobile responsiveness.

  • SaaS Password Reset Notification

    Developed using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL that ran within the backend of a SaaS system, this particular email send consumers unique notifications depending on their actions. This notification can be triggered at any time by using the SaaS, resulting in a the email successfully being sent by using the PHP mail function.
